DevOps Engineer - Salesforce & Azure

• 12 months with 2x12 months options to extend
• Location – ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, flexible working arrangement
• Australian Citizens with ability to obtain Baseline clearance

Infinite Consulting is seeking a talented DevOps engineer with Salesforce and Azure experience for our esteemed Large Federal Government Client. This is a long term contract with 12 months initial term and 2x12 months options to extend, based on funding and approval.

About the role:

In this role, you will join the Digital Transformation and Delivery Division and be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated pipelines for Salesforce deployments, using Azure DevOps. The responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:

• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using Azure DevOps tools like Azure pipelines and YAML scripting.
• Configure and manage Salesforce environments (Sandboxes, Development, Production) through infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Implement robust version control practices using Git and conduct thorough code reviews of pull requests.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and efficient workflows.

Essential criteria:

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or related role.
• Proven experience with Salesforce DX and Salesforce development tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps services (Azure, Pipelines, Repos, Boards).
• Expertise in CI/CD principles and automation scripting (YAML, Bash).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts.
• Experience with Git version control and pull request workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure).

Clearance: Australian Citizens with ability to obtain Baseline clearance
